Microsoft announced the end of support for Windows XP operating system and office 2003. Precisely starting April 8, 2014. This means that any computer running on XP and office 2003 after their end of support date may expose you or your company to security risks from harmful viruses, spyware and other malicious software. It will be particularly unwise for businesses carrying out mission-critical operations like bank ATMs and other related ones not to upgrade their systems.

Ransomware is a form of malware that gives criminals the ability to lock a computer from a remote location - then displays a pop-up window informing the owner that it will not be unlocked until a sum of money is paid.
